4th of July

We had a weekend full of activities during the 4th of July. Friday night James took Bailey to the Riverton parade with his family. She loved it. She got to see horses, princesses, clowns and she got lots and lots of candy. Saturday night we went over to Riverton park with James' family to watch fireworks. Boy was it crowded. When we first got there we walked around a bit to find something to eat and see what kind of things were going on. Bailey saw some ponies and she was in heaven as she petted these pint sized horses. After a few minutes she spotted a PINK pony (mane and tail spray painted and a pink saddle) and she just had to ride it and she did 3 times. Come to find out the ponies name was Bailey too!!!
Once the sun went down and 10 o'clock rolled around all of us were tired and impatiently waiting for the fireworks. Bailey made it about 15 minutes and she was out. She didn't even flinch when the finale came along.

Sunday night we kept Bailey up past her bedtime again and waited for it to get a little bit dark and we roasted marshmallows and lit some fireworks. She learned how to write her name with sparklers.
We also had a mini camp out on the trampoline. Bailey couldn't contain herself and she was up past midnight so we decided to head inside to sleep and luckily we did because it rained that morning!

It was late and fireworks hadn't started yet! Obviously.

We are so proud of Bay, she's such a big girl.
